Share Anonymous regularly seeks to mobilize our community to participate in advocacy campaigns to help bring attention to the issues affecting victims and survivors of sexual and domestic violence.
We strongly believe that through advocacy, we can shine a light to show the true reality of these issues to those who are in the position to create lasting and systemic change – policy makers and government officials. By spreading the word about these issues, we can tell the stories of survivors – of their experiences, and stories of how these issues have affected them. We can send the message that they and their experiences matter, that they are not alone, and that we will hold perpetrators accountable for their crimes.
Your voice is an important part of these efforts. We invite and encourage you to educate others – friends, acquaintances, loved ones and neighbors, to build strong and healthy relationships, and in so doing – strong and healthy communities. We also invite you to take a stand and advocate to create a systemic change to respond better to victims and survivors and end all forms of violence and abuse.
